Lenny, Lenny, Lenny: A Photo Tour

Our two Lenny concerts were a vibrant start to our 2018-2019 season. At Temple Emanu-El, the house was packed and the excitement exchanged between audience and performers was palpable. A beautifully designed contemporary space, Stern Chapel provided the perfect backdrop to our Bernstein homage. See the event through the lens of Dickie Hill.

The choirs warm up, anticipating a full house. Our harpist, Alison Reed, and organist, Bradley Reznicek, were part of our formidable team of collaborating musicians.

The Maestro’s presence was keenly felt as the watercolor painting of Stephen Zhang brought him to life behind the performers. Projected excerpts from his letters provided context for the musical narrative.
