Through our Choral Music Education Initiative, professional teaching artists work alongside Dallas school choir directors to make individual lessons, small-group coaching, ensemble support and audition preparation available at no cost to students.
Consistent mentorship gives young singers time to develop their technique, musicianship and confidence—and to imagine what comes next.
Room for a young voice to grow.
Our first school partnership began at Greiner in 2019. Today, this ongoing collaboration supports middle-school singers as they find their voices, learn to listen to one another and build a foundation for a life in music.
Teaching artist Katrina Burggraf works alongside choir director Nychelle Winters, connecting individual growth with the shared work of the choir.

Townview

More time to discover what is possible.
At Townview, teaching artist Jacki Miller works with students individually and in small groups during choir class. In partnership with music director Devlin DeCutler, this coaching gives singers sustained attention as they develop their own musical goals.
Students prepare for All-Region and All-State auditions, recitals, concerts and college auditions while building technique, musical independence and the confidence to be heard.
In 2025–26, two Townview students earned places in the TMEA All-State Choir.

After three years of study with Jacki Miller at Townview, Andrew Benitez graduated in 2026 with 19 college music program acceptances.
He is now studying music education and music therapy at SMU, with an emphasis in voice and choral conducting.

Bring it to life.
Our new educational and performance partnership with Parish Episcopal School will connect students directly with professional vocal artists.
Through workshops developed with Parish faculty, students will explore vocal technique, listening, ensemble singing and expressive performance—then hear those ideas in action in a campus performance by Verdigris.
